Jason Brocker, MD, a member of the United States Air Force, brings the latest in medical knowledge to trauma surgery and care. He received his medical degree from University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and completed a residency in general surgery at Scott & White – Texas A&M Health Science Center, where he earned an award for academic excellence. He completed his fellowship in trauma/surgical critical care at University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis.

His professional experience includes training new surgeons at University of Tennessee Health Science Center and serving as a lieutenant colonel and assistant professor of surgery in the U.S. Air Force Medical Corps. During military deployments in Afghanistan, Dr. Brocker cared for injured military personnel as the chief of trauma and director of the ICU.

Dr. Brocker has participated in clinical research to improve patient care and has been published in medical journals. His professional memberships include the American College of Surgeons, American Medical Association, Texas Medical Society and the Texas Medical Society Committee on Trauma.
